Erica's I'm a Texan profile

Zodiac sign:
Leo

Hometown: Decatur, IL

Age: 26

Occupation: Teacher and mom

Career goal: I want to teach for the next few years and then become a counselor. I also dream of becoming an actress, model and/or touring as a dancer for a musician. Wow! I have a lot of work to do!

Hobbies: Dancing, singing, listening to music, playing with my son, jogging or walking outside, shopping and reading. Starbucks is my resting place. I can listen to great music, read and sip on a latte.

Songs on my iPod: "I'm Alive" by Flyleaf, "I Get It" by Cheville, "No Air" by Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks, "4 Minutes" by Madonna and Justin Timberlake and "Stop and Stare" by One Republic.

Favorite CD/CD’s:  "Hysteria" by Def Leopard, "If" by Janet Jackson, "Justified" by Justin Timberlake, "The Immaculate Collection" by Madonna, "Purple Rain" by Prince and "Let Go" by Avril Lavigne.

Favorite restaurant: PF Changs, Pei Wei, Cheesecake Factory, Carl's BBQ and Pappasitos

Favorite ice cream flavor: Chocolate chip cookie dough and Baskin Robbins' Raspberry Cheese Louise Frozen Yogurt

Favorite TV show: I don't really watch a lot of TV shows. The only shows I record is "Desperate Housewives." Some old favorites of mine are "Full House," 'Beverly Hills 90210," "All My Children," "General Hospital," "Seinfeld," "Everybody Loves Raymond" and King of Queens.

Favorite movie: AHH! I have so many! “Dirty Dancing,” “The Wedding Planner,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” "Wild Hearts Can't be Broken," "Fried Green Tomatoes" and any movie starring Matthew McConaughey, Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and Will Ferrell.

My favorite holiday is: Hmm, let me think…Christmas, of course!!!

I’m happiest when: My son creeps into my room in the morning. He hops up on the bed and snuggles next to me with this huge smile.

My favorite part of the game: Is when we walk out of the tunnel. I feel like I'm going to cry, laugh, and scream with joy! I love welcoming fans in Budweiser Plaza before the game starts. Everyone is so pumped and the kids' faces are beaming! The anticipation is exciting for everyone!

If I could do one thing, it would be: "Leaving behind a legacy with eternal impact." This is from the book, "One Month To Live," by Kerry and Chris Shook. I want to do whatever is in God's plan for me.

My favorite Texans moment: How can I narrow this down? Every moment is incredible. I'm privileged to be a part of this team, so every moment is truly valued. If I have to pick, I would have to say it is was walking out of the tunnel for the first time. The fans cheering for us took my breath away. I realized when I was getting ready to walk out that I had accomplished my goal of becoming a Houston Texans Cheerleader.
