 All Houston Texans player appearance requests must meet the following criteria and guidelines in order to be reviewed and considered by the Houston Texans Department of Community Development:
- All player appearance requests must be submitted electronically to the Houston Texans Department of Community Development at least 4 weeks prior to the event date to allow appropriate player selection and department processing. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
- Player appearances will be limited to Houston and surrounding areas.
- During the regular season, players are only available for appearances on Tuesdays. Additionally, players have limited availability during the off-season, and are not available for appearances during mini-camps in June or training camps in late July through the end of August.
- When submitting a request, you must select a specific date for your appearance. Requests with open date availability will not be considered.
- Please clearly define the role or activities you are requesting the player to engage in. Players are not allowed to participate in activities that may cause bodily harm or physical injury.
- All player appearances are subject to player availability and the approval of the Houston Texans Department of Community Development and the Houston Texans Department of Football Operations.
- The Houston Texans Department of Marketing must approve any form of promotional media exposure that mentions an appearance by a Houston Texans player. The confirmation of a player appearance does not grant the right to use the Houston Texans name and/or logo to promote your event.
- The Houston Texans player reserves the right to walk away from any appearance that they deem personally unsafe or harmful to their public image.
- In the event of extenuating circumstances (i.e. injuries, family emergency, team obligations, etc), the Houston Texans reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or replace players for confirmed events.
 Players will make non-gratuitous appearances for non-profit organizations, schools and civic functions based on their availability. Thank you for your request. Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to all requests we receive. However, all properly submitted requests will be reviewed and considered. If we are able to fulfill your request, someone from the Houston Texans Department of Community Development will contact you two weeks prior to the requested appearance date for more information. However, this initial correspondence does not guarantee confirmation for the requested appearance.
