The Houston Texans are proud to partner with GE and Houston Methodist to launch the Play Safe Moms Clinic just for football moms on May 13th!
This free clinic will provide moms with the latest safety information in concussion awareness, proper hydration and nutrition to prepare them for the upcoming football season. These classroom-style instructions and interactive football drills will take place in the Houston Methodist Training Center.

Through the Hometown Hero Program, members of the greater Houston community were invited to nominate a local charity that is going above and beyond to make our community a better place to live and work. The nomination deadline was May 31.
The three local charities who received the most nominations each received a $5,000 donation from Halliburton. Each of the 10 local charities who received the most nominations will receive tickets to one home game during the 2013 season, as well as air time on the Houston Texans Radio program on SportsRadio 610 to promote the charity on the week leading up to the day of the game.
To be eligible, charities must be a registered 501 (c)(3) charity with the IRS and must be based in Houston.
