Rookie tight end James Casey, who had arthroscopic knee surgery after the Buffalo game, appears to be recovered. He participated fully in Thursday's practice. “He didn't miss anything today,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “There have been no setbacks. He's done a heck of a job to get back that fast.”

These are strange times in Tennessee. To be fair, times are often strange in Tennessee. I mean, Graceland, the Memphis Grizzlies, Lane Kiffin coaching the University of Tennessee -- lots of weirdness down there. In Kiffin's case, after two of his players were nabbed for robbing a gas station recently, he said "we made it 11 months and 11 days" between incidents, except that a freshman defensive back had been nabbed for shoplifting five days earlier. It was as if Kiffin was still coaching the Raiders.
