Daniels remains a no-show at camp – M. Manfull
Despite signing his $2.792 million tender, Texans tight end Owen Daniels did not show up for the team’s mandatory minicamp Monday. He remains unhappy with his current contract situation, and he is still waiting for a long-term deal to get negotiated. Daniels also skipped the final three organized team activities last week.

Favre is leading this dance – K. Seifert
From my vantage point, Brett Favre's live televised interview Monday night confirmed the essence of nearly everything we've discussed about his possible return here on the Black and Blue blog -- and then some. The truth behind the NFL's injury reports – A. Marvez
Talk about your royal pains. The NFL has again come under media fire this offseason for its in-season injury policy. Some ailments — like the frayed biceps tendon that helped doom Brett Favre's 2008 campaign — didn't come to light until after the season had ended. The severity of other injuries was never fully disclosed. This offseason, some players (Antonio Cromartie, Atari Bigby, and others) have even admitted feeling pressured by their own teams not to publicly say how badly they were hurt because of strategic reasons.

Rookie contract negotiations become a priority this time of year – P. Kirwan
While the NFL's busy schedule does slow down a bit this time of year, it remains true that 'there is no offseason in the NFL.' Organized team activities may be winding down and coaches might be planning for some vacation time, but there are still a number of issues that never seem to go away. Most of those issues revolve around contract negotiations.
