Foster injured his hamstring early in the loss at Kansas City, while Tate cracked four ribs later in the same game. On Wednesday, both were outside in the rain at the Houston Methodist Training Center.
“Arian went out and stretched, did some stuff and did some walkthrough," Kubiak said. "And then he worked with the trainers. I think he’s going to do everything he can to be there."
As for Tate, Kubiak said the fourth-year back was with his teammates.
“He practiced, kind of like a trial run going through the week seeing how he’s going to feel," Kubiak said. "But he took his normal reps with what we did today.”
Tate intends to play on Sunday.
“Yeah, I expect to be there," Tate said. "I expect to help this team win on Sunday.”
The Texans host Indianapolis on Sunday night at Reliant Stadium. In four of the five career games he's played against the Colts, Foster's gained over 100 yards rushing. In the one game he didn't crack the century mark, he gained 96 yards.
