Foster, who injured his calf during OTA's, was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on the eve of training camp. He was set to return earlier, but experienced soreness in his back. Wednesday, however, he was going through reps with his teammates.
“We pulled him off PUP," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He went back to work today kind of on a limited basis, but it was positive. So we’ll take it a day at a time.”
"It’s really important and, like I told y’all all along, he’s been working," Kubiak said. "It’s not like he’s been standing around. Just trying to get all of that soreness out and he felt really good the last two days. So made the decision today and I think we took a big step forward.”
Kubiak also shared the team's plans with regards to Foster, and when he'll see game action.
"I think the key is that we just have a couple of good weeks of practice and bring him along as if he’s just started training camp," Kubiak said. "So trying to do it the right way.”
