BWTB: Johnny Manziel Warehouse

Posted Feb 26, 2014

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel's Combine experience, in videos and articles, is chronicled here.

Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel won the 2012 Heisman Trophy as a freshman, followed it up with a brilliant sophomore campaign in 2013, and is headed into the NFL and the 2014 Draft.

Got an hour to burn? Because what follows below is a chronological warehouse of videos and articles, courtesy of HoustonTexans.com and the NFL Network.

Johnny Manziel Preview (Lasts 5:22)

We begin with a 1-on-1 between QB guru and Manziel advisor George Whitfield, Jr. and Paul Burmeister.

Jake Matthews praises Johnny Manziel

The Texas A&M offensive tackle was at the podium on Thursday, and was complimentary of his college teammate.

John McClain on Johnny Manziel (5:28)

The Houston Chronicle scribe spent a few days in San Diego before the Combine, and he was able to watch Manziel work with Whitfield. This video is McClain joining the NFL AM Crew to talk about Manziel.

Manziel and the quarterbacks went through their measurements on Friday morning. He checked in at 5-11 and 3/4 of an inch, just shy of 6 feet. He also weighed 207 pounds and had hands that were 9 and 7/8 inches.

George Whitfield On Johnny Manziel
Whitfield spoke with Texans play-by-play voice Marc Vandermeer, and shared some more insight into what the former Heisman winner has been doing to prepare for the NFL.

Johnny Manziel's Press Conference (15:15)

Manziel swirled into the media room at Lucas Oil Stadium just before noon ET, on Friday. He answered questions from the press, and his entire interview is below.

Combine Confessionals: Johnny Manziel (0:35)

Manziel took a timeout after his media session for an NFL Network 'Confessional'. He bared his soul, told all his dark secrets and...well, not really. But he did chit-chat directly into the camera about what other sport he likes to play. (0:35)

Manziel equals Flutie? (1:35)

Manziel vs. Kaepernick (0:47)

The NFL Network used it's technology and showed how Manziel's 40 stacked up versus Colin Kaepernick's. The 49ers quarterback was impressive in the 2011 NFL Combine.

Mayock on Manziel (1:32)

The NFL Network's Mike Mayock went to some game tape and shared his thoughts on Manziel's pocket awareness.

That's 11 videos lasting a combined 49 minutes (give or take a few seconds), and a slew of reading material to boot.
