Posted Nov 19, 2013

The Texans honored military members at the Salute to Service Day game on Sunday.

A week of military-related events culminated on Sunday as the Texans held the Salute to Service Day game, presented by Bud Light, at Reliant Stadium.

Over 400 members of the military attended the Texans vs. Raiders matchup with every branch represented on field during pregame ceremonies. The Homefield Advantage Captains and Coin Toss Captains were former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. Challenger, the free flying bald eagle, soared over the field as The Gatlin Brothers performed the National Anthem in front of a crowd of 71,726 fans.
