BWTB: The Winner

Posted May 1, 2014

Last month we asked our younger fans who they would select with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The NFL experts have spoken, but we wanted to hear from the true football gurus of the world: Kids.

That’s why last month we asked our younger fans who they would select with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Video submissions came flooding in through email, YouTube and Instagram, with an autographed Brian Cushing football being the coveted prize.

After receiving input from staff and Facebook fans, we have crowned a winner of the Kids Draft Picks Challenge: Ethan Brown.

The rambunctious Brown, sporting a Johnny Manziel jersey, told the Texans to draft the Texas A&M quarterback because “he is going to be the best football player coming out of college.” Brown proceeded to take off his Aggie garb, revealing underneath a custom-made Texans jersey with his name embroidered on the back.

While swinging the A&M jersey around his head, the young fan mentioned how he’s too little to help out J.J. Watt…for now.

Congratulations, Ethan Brown, and we’ll keep you in mind for the 2030 season.
