Breakfast: Hopkins named 2017 PFF All-Pro

Posted Jan 10, 2018

WR DeAndre Hopkins was named to Pro Football Focus' 2017 All-Pro team.

Last week, DeAndre Hopkins made the Associated Press NFL All-Pro First Team for the first time in his career after a standout 2017 season.

However, that wasn't his only All-Pro honor, as the wide receiver was also named to Pro Football Focus' 2017 NFL All-Pro team under the 'Flex O' category with an overall grade of 90.6.

Per PFF, Hopkins averaged 2.39 yards per route run, which ranked fourth among wide receivers last season.

"The flex position was a real battle this year between multiple deserving candidates," PFF said. "But in the end, the production that DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins was able to have despite the situation around him was phenomenal."

Hopkins played 15 games in 2017, recording 96 receptions for 1,378 yards and a franchise-record and league-leading 13 touchdown catches. He ranked first in the NFL in targets (174), first in receptions over 25 yards (17), third in 100-yard receiving games (5), and fourth in receiving first downs (69). He also caught a touchdown in an NFL-high and franchise-record 10 games this season, led the league with nine games of seven-or-more receptions, and tied for the league lead with 11 games of 70-or-more receiving yards.
