The Texans are a battered team after playing two overtime games in five days.
Outside linebacker
“The big three that we’re worried about are Brooks, Newton and James,” Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Friday morning at a press conference at Reliant Stadium. “I probably will have no information for you guys until we come back on Monday.”
Kubiak said “there’s some concern” about tight end

When running back
“I thought Ben would be no doubt back on the field Monday,” Kubiak said. “He had two good days of work last week, but he complained of soreness again yesterday, so I don’t know. We’ll see where he’s at when we come back Monday and go from there.”
The Texans have a three-day break before returning to practice Monday to begin preparing for a Dec. 2 game at Tennessee.
“We’ve got way too many guys in here today,” Kubiak said. “That’s the unfortunate thing. I wish they were all gone for a few days, but we’ve got a lot of guys that have to come in here physically and work their way back. We’ve got a bunch of evaluations that we’ve got going on today that I’ll know more about probably this evening.
“I wish I could get ‘em all out of here, but we’ve got some guys that need to stay here and get well.”
