Duane Brown returns to game

Posted Sep 15, 2013

Left tackle Duane Brown left the Texans game in the second quarter after getting tangled up on a play with teammate Wade Smith.

Left tackle Duane Brown left the Texans game in the second quarter after getting tangled up on a play with teammate Wade Smith. Brown was replaced by swing tackle Ryan Harris but returned on the next offensive series after getting his right foot taped up extensively.

"I just got rolled up on. My foot planted in the ground, and someone fell on it," Brown said. "I was able to finish the game so that was the best part about it."

Brown, who appeared to have hurt his right foot on the play, walked off the field of his own accord. The All-Pro left tackle has never missed a game due to injury and assured teammates on the sideline that he would be back in the game.

The Texans are 2-0 on the season after defeating the Titans 30-24 in overtime.
