Kareem Jackson improving each day

Posted Nov 28, 2013

After his second day of practice, Kareem Jackson looked and felt better than he had in recent weeks.

After his second day of practice, Kareem Jackson looked and felt better than he had in recent weeks. After missing two-consecutive games with a broken rib, Jackson looks likely to return on Sunday for the New England Patriots.

“Kareem looked better today,” head coach Gary Kubiak said. “I thought he looked better than yesterday. I think we’re heading toward Kareem having a good opportunity to play, so we’ll see where we’re at.”

While Jackson’s injury is not enough to keep him from practice, his big test will be when he puts on his pads.

“The main thing is just to get to Sunday,” Jackson said after Thursday’s practice. “I think the biggest question is going to be how I feel when I have to tackle.

Jackson has his range of motion but still has some pain in some everyday. It’s not enough to deter the fourth-year cornerback who says he wants to fight through it.

“I sat out two weeks and I definitely want to be back out there with my team to finish off the season on a positive note.”

Kareem says he is excited to face the Texans’ next opponent, Tom Brady and the Patriots.
