Mock Draft Survey 3.0: Playmaker at 22

Posted Feb 22, 2016

The latest Mock Draft Survey has the Texans taking a Big 10 playmaker at #22 in the NFL Draft.

MOCK SURVEY 1.0
MOCK SURVEY 2.0

The Combine starts on Wednesday in Indianapolis.

The NFL Draft is April 28 in Chicago.

The players chosen over those three days stopped playing football over a month ago.

Nevertheless, there's been movement on the Draft board, according to the experts.

The latest Houston Texans Mock Draft Survey takes a look at who several prominent NFL Draft experts think the Texans will take with the 22nd overall pick.

This survey calculated the results from 18 prognosticators, up from the 16 we surveyed back on February 8.

Now, as then, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was the most-mocked player to the Texans. Six different writers/TV personalities (33.3% of those polled) think Houston will nab the Buckeye who's rushed for over 3,600 yards in the last two seasons.

Five experts (27.8%) have the Texans taking a quarterback with their first round selection, while a receiver and defensive tackle each received three predictions (16.7%).

83.3 percent of the projections were offensive players.
