    The 2015 Houston Texans Draft Party presented by Coors Light isThursday, April 30 at NRG Stadium.  The Draft Party begins at 5 p.m. CDT and the 2015 NFL Draft begins at 7 p.m. CDT.

    NFL Network’s draft coverage will be shown on the HD televisions throughout the 100 Level Concourse and Texans Radio on SportsRadio 610 will broadcast live, with commentary and analysis from “The Voice of the Texans,” Marc Vandermeer, and a number of special guests. When the Texans make their first-round pick, fans at the Draft Party will hear from the player first as part of Texans Radio’s live broadcast.

    Texans Ambassadors will be on hand to sign autographs throughout the evening. Texans fans can also get their first glimpse of the 2015 Houston Texans Cheerleaders when the squad makes its debut performance at the event. 

    Young fans can play in the TORO’s Kids Club Zone presented by Kroger, which will feature interactive games, a balloon artist and appearances by TORO and Deep Steel Thunder. Fans can also take photos in Memory Alley located on the concourse.

Notes from the Texans vs. Colts Sunday Night Football matchup.

TEXANS TEAM NOTES

  • Houston outgained Indianapolis 483-314 and held the ball for 36:12.
  • Houston’s first first quarter scoring drive spanned 73 yards on 3 plays and lasted 1:00, capped by a 64-yard touchdown pass from Case Keenum to Andre Johnson.
  • Houston’s second first quarter scoring drive spanned 57 yards on 4 plays and lasted 2:05, capped by a 41-yard touchdown pass from Case Keenum to Andre Johnson.
  • Houston’s second quarter scoring drive spanned 72 yards on 7 plays and lasted 2:56, capped by a 5-yard touchdown pass from Case Keenum to Andre Johnson.
  • Houston’s third quarter scoring drive spanned 62 yards on 11 plays and lasted 7:29, capped by a 43-yard field goal by Randy Bullock.
  • The Colts won the toss and elected to defer to the second half. The Texans elected to receive.
  • Houston’s captains for the game were WR Andre Johnson, P Shane Lechler and DE J.J. Watt

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

WR ANDRE JOHNSON

  • Caught a career-high and franchise-record three touchdown receptions and totaled nine receptions for 229 yards (25.4 average) on the day. It was his third career 200-yard receiving game (273 vs. Jacksonville, 11/18/12; 207 vs. Tennessee, 12/14/08).
  • Tied Torry Holt as the second-fastest player in NFL history reach 12,000 receiving yards, doing so in his 146th career game. Jerry Rice did it the fastest in his 142nd  career game.

His 62-yard touchdown in the first quarter was his first of the season and 57th of his career and his longest reception since Dec. 13, 2009 vs. Seattle (64-yard touchdown reception).

  • Passed Michael Irvin (11,904) and Derrick Mason (12,061) to move into 20th place on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list. Johnson now has 12,067 receiving yards for his career.
  • Had his first multi-touchdown game since 12/13/10 vs. Baltimore.
  • Recorded his 47th 100-yard game, tied with Torry Holt and Michael Irvin for sixth all-time in NFL history.
  • Had 137 yards receiving in the first quarter, the most yards in a quarter in his career, and the third most in the first quarter in NFL history. His 190 yards in the first half were the most in his career in the first half.
  • Extended his streak of consecutive games played with a reception to 109 and his franchise record or games played to 146.
  • Recorded his third touchdown of the game on a 5-yard pass from Keenum with 34 seconds left in the first half. It was Johnson’s first career three touchdown game and is the most receiving touchdowns in a game in franchise history.

 RB DENNIS JOHNSON

  • Made his Texans debut, and recorded his first career carry for 8 yards in the second quarter. Johnson has six carries for 29 yards.
  • Returned his first kickoff of the season in the fourth quarter and returned it 21 yards.

 QB CASE KEENUM

  • Set career-highs with 350 yards on 20-of-34 passing with three touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 123.4 passer rating.
  • Threw three first half touchdowns, the fifth time in Texans history it’s been done in one half.
  • Ran for 26 yards on three carries.

 ILB JOE MAYS

  • Recorded the first full sack of his career, taking Andrew Luck down for a loss of 7 yards in the second quarter.

 WR DeVIER POSEY

  • Had an 11-yard reception in the first quarter set a career high for receptions in a season with 7 and yards in a season previously set in 2012 with 87. Posey currently has 102 yards receiving in 2013 on nine receptions.

DE ANTONIO SMITH

  • Tied a career-high with 2.0 sacks. It was the fourth two-sack game of his career. He sacked Andrew Luck for a 6-yard loss in the second quarter and took Luck down for a loss of 7 yards in the third quarter, giving him 4.5 sacks on the season.

SS D.J. SWEARINGER

  • Recovered J.J. Watt’s blocked field goal in the first quarter and returned it 37 yards.

RB BEN TATE

  • Led the Texans in rushing with 76 yards on 20 attempts.

DE J.J. WATT

  • Blocked Adam Vinatieri’s 42-yard field goal attempt in the first quarter, the first blocked field goal by the Texans since Danieal Manning blocked Shaun Suisham’s kick vs. Pittsburgh on Oct. 2, 2011. It was the second blocked field goal of Watt’s career.
  • Recorded a second-quarter sack of Andrew Luck, giving him 5.5 sacks on the season.
