The Texans made a practice squad move on Tuesday, releasing running back Davin Meggett and signing linebacker
Collins (6-2, 241), an undrafted rookie from Oregon State, was previously on the Texans’ practice squad from Oct. 11-29. He gives the Texans a developmental player for insurance at a position that has been beset by injuries.

Meggett (5-8, 215), an undrafted rookie from Maryland, spent all offseason with the Texans before being released in the preseason. He was re-signed to the practice squad on Sept. 26 after the New York Jets signed
