Texans players took their talents to the runway for “Love’s in Fashion at Tootsies” charity event to benefit Dec My Room.

The upscale event took place Wednesday night at the Upper Kirby area store and featured players Brian Cushing, Kareem Jackson, Brooks Reed, Garrett Graham, Shane Lechler, Cody White, and Texans ambassador Chester Pitts.

Players had fun walking the runway. Jackson took his time at the end of the catwalk, dancing and showing off a cranberry-colored three-piece custom suit with matching Christian Louboutin loafers. Cushing, who forgot his tie, picked up a black-and-white checkered bow tie at the store. Ericka and Garrett Graham discussed their new charity, Project 88, which will provide college counseling to high school students in low-income Houston neighborhoods.

Not everyone was in their element, as punter Shane Lechler, volunteered by wife Erin, said he had more nerves than on game day! The Texans cheerleaders and TORO were also on hand for the star-studded event, co-chaired by Hannah and Cal McNair and Joanna and Brad Marks,

Dec My Room is a non-profit organization that decorates and personalizes hospital rooms for children to make their stay more comfortable. Patients can also take their room decorations home when they are discharged.

Highlights from Wednesday night's event can be seen on Texans 360, airing Saturday at 11 p.m. on KTRK-13.
