Updates at Reliant Stadium

The Houston Texans make it a priority to provide the best gameday experience possible for all who step foot in Reliant Stadium. With that in mind, many updates have been implemented for the 2013 season to further enhance the overall fan experience.


The Houston Texans make it a priority to provide the best gameday experience possible for all who step foot in Reliant Stadium. With that in mind, many updates have been implemented for the 2013 season to further enhance the overall fan experience.
 
What’s new at Reliant Stadium in 2013:

• Installed state of the art HD Video boards
• New ability to show additional replay angles
• Installed a locker room camera
• Created a new pre-game Intro video (The bull video)
• Added a DJ to the Crown Saloon
• Two gate name changes – BHP Billiton and XFinity
• Updated Fan Zone activations
o Size Me up
o Timed 40 yard dash
o Zipline
• Created a new Tailgate Zone adjacent to the Kids Zone with 10 premium tailgate spots
• Added valet service on the West side of the stadium
• Added a free car wash with Valet service
• Adjusted the timing of the lights further out from the stadium to ease  congestion at outlying intersections
• Added a pre-game TV broadcast from Budweiser Plaza
• Addition of Food Trucks in Budweiser Plaza pre-game
• Created the RedZone bar – new bar area next to section 119
• New craft beer offerings in the Bull Pen Party Deck – Goose Island  Beer Company, Red’s Apple Ale
• New offerings – Icee Slush, Assorted candy, Coke of the World location, combo packages
• New partnership with Chris Shepherd of Underbelly to offer signature items on the Club level
• Built 2 Additional Field Level Suites
• Built a new In-stadium retail store on the NE corner of the 100 level
• Added the audio broadcast of the game to all elevators
• Renovated the Club level stores
• Instituted the NFL recommended Clear bag policy
