
The Texans have signed fullback Moran Norris and defensive end Keith Browner, who tried out for the team at mini-camp this week.
Wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker and linebacker Prescott Burgess also tried out at the Texans' three-day mini-camp. They have not been signed.
Norris (6-1, 250) played for the Texans from 2002-05. The 33-year-old Houston native spent five of the last six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and 2008 with the Detroit Lions. He provides a physical presence to complement versatile starter ![]()

Browner (6-4, 276) went undrafted out of California in 2011. This is his first NFL team. As a senior at Cal, he played outside linebacker and started nine games with 28 tackles. Browner's father, Keith Browner, and uncles Ross, Joey, Willard and Jim Browner all played professional football.
