2008 (Detroit 16/5): Finished the season with a career-high 37 tackles for the Lions…contributed at both nose and under tackle for Detroit…played in all 16 games for the second time in his career…had a stretch in the middle of the season where he recorded six tackles in consecutive games…started at defensive tackles at San Francisco (9/21)…finished with two tackles…started nose tackles at Houston (10/19)…tied a career high with six tackles.

2007 (Detroit 15/0): Rotated at the defensive tackle position, ending the year with 34 tackles (13 solo)…had his lone career interception…garnered first interception vs. Minnesota (9/16)…made a diving catch off a deflected pass by S Gerald Alexander…posted three tackles (one solo) and a pass defense...played at Philadelphia (9/23)…making four tackles (three solo)…tied a season high with four tackles (one solo) against Denver (11/4)…inactive against Green Bay (11/22).

2005 (Detroit 16/2): Quickly became a regular in the defensive line rotation as a rookie, playing in all 16 games with two starts after being drafted in the second round (37th overall) of the 2005 Draft…made his first professional appearance vs. Green Bay (9/11)..recorded 2 total tackles (1 solo)…recorded the first sack of his career vs. Carolina (10/16)…he totaled 1.5 sacks for a loss of 15.0 yards on the game…made his first career start against Chicago (10/30)…had first career forced fumble, which was recovered by DE Kalimba Edwards…had his first career fumble recovery at Minnesota (11/6)...recorded 5 tackles, a single-game best.
