Rushed for 66 yards in three games during the 2009 preseason, 49 of which came in the preseason finale against Tampa Bay...Longest run of the preseason was for nine yards, and he did that two times.

Foster is second in Tennessee history with 2,394 yards rushing and is the Vols' all-time leader with 650 rushing attempts...His 3,880 all-purpose yards are the third-highest career total for the Vols...As a senior played in 11 games, rushing for 570 yards on 131 carries (4.4 avg). Also caught 19 passes for 166 yards (8.7 avg)...In 2007 as a junior, Foster was a 2nd team All-Southeastern Conference selection, rumbling for 1,193 yards on 245 carries with 12 touchdowns...His 1,650 all-purpose yards rank second on the school single-season record list, as he tallied 340 yards with a pair of scores on 39 catches (8.7 avg) and 117 yards on three kickoff returns...Because of injuries, Foster gained just 322 yards on 91 attempts with five touchdowns in 2006...He started four games, but saw action in 11 contests...Caught 11 passes for 88 yards (8.0 avg) and returned two kickoffs for 20 yards...As a redshirt freshman in 2005, Foster picked up 879 yards on the ground, the fifth highest total for a Tennessee freshman...He also scored five touchdowns and had five games in which he ran for more than 100 yards...Selected as a second-team Freshman All-American.

Signed by Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2009...released by Texans on Sept. 5, 2009...signed to Texans' practice squad on Sept. 6, 2009...signed to the active roster on Nov. 17, 2009.

At Mission Bay (San Diego, Cal.) High School was named the San Diego Union-Tribune's All-San Diego Western League Player of the Year in 2003...Added All-West Region honors from Prep Star and All-California Interscholastic Federation accolades, as he led the nation's prep ranks with 2,500 all-purpose yards, racking up 2,093 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns while adding six scores on kickoff returns as senior in 2003...Also lettered in track and basketball...Part of same high school graduating class as Matt Bush, who was first overall selection in 2004 MLB amateur draft by San Diego Padres...Moved to San Diego from Albuquerque after his sophomore year of high school.
