These clinics will highlight the importance of concussion awareness,  proper hydration, and nutrition.

    Special guests will include experts in related fields, Houston Texans Ambassadors, and Texans Cheerleaders!  Participants will hear from guest speakers and then take part in interactive football drills.

    The 2015 Houston Texans Draft Party presented by Coors Light isThursday, April 30 at NRG Stadium.  The Draft Party begins at 5 p.m. CDT and the 2015 NFL Draft begins at 7 p.m. CDT.

    NFL Network’s draft coverage will be shown on the HD televisions throughout the 100 Level Concourse and Texans Radio on SportsRadio 610 will broadcast live, with commentary and analysis from “The Voice of the Texans,” Marc Vandermeer, and a number of special guests. When the Texans make their first-round pick, fans at the Draft Party will hear from the player first as part of Texans Radio’s live broadcast.

    Texans Ambassadors will be on hand to sign autographs throughout the evening. Texans fans can also get their first glimpse of the 2015 Houston Texans Cheerleaders when the squad makes its debut performance at the event. 

    Young fans can play in the TORO’s Kids Club Zone presented by Kroger, which will feature interactive games, a balloon artist and appearances by TORO and Deep Steel Thunder. Fans can also take photos in Memory Alley located on the concourse.

• Tied a career high with five receptions vs. New England (1/3/10), gaining 65 yards and scoring a touchdown...also had a 31-yard punt return.

2008 (Houston 16/0):
• Played in all 16 games…caught three passes for 81 yards at wide receiver and led the team with 32 punt returns for 386 yards and two touchdowns.
• Was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 6 and Week 8…returned four punts for 45 yards with a long of 33 yards at Tennessee (9/21).
• Returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter vs. Miami (10/12).
• It was the first of his career and only the second in team history.
• Returned the first punt of the game back 73 yards for a touchdown vs. Cincinnati (10/26).
• It was his second returned punt for a touchdown on the season and the second-longest return of his career…also returned three kickoffs for 58 yards.
• Returned one punt for 28 yards and recorded the first rush of his career, which was a five-yard loss, vs. Jacksonville (12/1).

2007 (Houston 14/2):
• Saw action in 14 games, missing two with injury…made two starts.
• Returned his season-long punt of 74 yards, along with three receptions for 26 yards vs. Indianapolis (9/23).
• Started his first NFL game and returned one punt and two kickoffs for 41 yards vs. Tennessee (10/21).
• Started second game of the season and caught a career-high five passes for 51 yards at San Diego (10/28).

COLLEGE:
• The only player in Lane College history to score via a reception, rushing attempt, punt return and kickoff return in the same season (2006)…became the first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player to earn All-SIAC honors at three positions (receiver, punt returner, kickoff returner) in the same season (2006).
• Holds the school career record with 1,937 yards and four touchdowns on kickoff returns…also holds the school season record with 931 yards on kickoff returns in 2005…became the first player in Lane annals to catch 200 passes in a career.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Marion Abramson High School in New Orleans…played football for the first time as a junior for the Commodores…competed two seasons on the gridiron and was an all-area selection in basketball.
• Also an all-area sprinter in track, competing in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
• Worked as a tutor for Upward Bound, a nationwide program dedicated to preparing students from low-income families for college.

    Wide receiver Jacoby Jones found open space on a play action fake and cut left for an 80-yard touchdown on the first snap of the game at Tampa.
