Third-team Class 5A all-state selection at Gainesville (Fla.) High School for head coach Eddy Moore as a senior
Competed at the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Miami, where he garnered Defensive MVP honors with 3.5 sacks
Collected 84 tackles with 11 sacks his senior year and caught 15 passes as a tight end
Had 87 tackles, 50 solo, along with 10 sacks during his junior season
