The Houston Texans are in the midst of a multi-year agreement with Entercom which continues to make SportsRadio 610 (KILT-AM) and 100.3 KILT-FM The Bull (KILT-FM FM) the home of Texans Radio through the 2027 NFL season. In addition, Mega 101 FM (KLOL-FM) in Houston will broadcast all games in Spanish.

SportsRadio 610 and country radio 100.3 The Bull have been the flagship stations and broadcast homes for the Texans Radio Network since 2002. The game broadcasts are simulcast on both stations, with SportsRadio 610 broadcasting pregame and postgame programs in addition to weekly player and coaches’ shows. You can also listen to the games on line at www.HoustonTexans.com. Marc Vandermeer is in his 16th season as the “Voice of the Houston Texans." Joining Vandermeer in the booth to provide analysis is Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware. Texans analyst John Harris patrols the sidelines with updates throughout the game.

Marc Vandermeer (@TexansVoice) has been a team fixture since it began play in 2002, calling every snap the Houston Texans have ever taken as the team’s play-by-play announcer. Vandermeer officially joined the Texans as the director of radio broadcasting in June 2012 and was promoted to senior director of broadcasting in June 2013 before being named vice president of broadcasting in 2016. In his role, Vandermeer serves as the “Voice of the Texans” and oversees the programs and content on HoustonTexans.com, Texans Radio on the flagship station KILT SportsRadio 610 AM and Texans television programming on ABC-13/KTRK and Fox Sports Southwest. Since the Texans began play, Vandermeer is the only current team employee to attend every single game in franchise history.

Ware

Joining Vandermeer in the booth for game broadcasts is Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware. Ware, a native Houstonian, played his college football at the University of Houston before becoming a first-round draft pick of the Detroit Lions. After his football career, Ware made the jump into the broadcast booth as color commentator for the Houston Cougars. He also currently serves as an analyst for college football games on ESPN. Ware was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

John Harris (@jharrisfootball) joined the organization as a football analyst and sideline reporter in April 2014 and was hired full-time in April 2015. In addition to his sideline duties on game day, he writes articles for HoustonTexans.com and contributes to Texans Radio and Texans TV on a regular basis. Harris has spent his time around the game as a coach’s son, player, coach, writer, radio host, television guest and all-around football historian. He provides a perspective not many can - a thorough understanding of X’s and O’s with the ability to communicate that love and understanding to readers and listeners.

Drew Dougherty (@Dougherty_Drew) is the host of Texans TV and the team’s Senior Integrated Media Manager. Dougherty is the on-air talent for the video on the team’s website and can be heard and seen on all team-related shows. 2016 will be his eighth season with the team. On Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the autumn, Dougherty hosts ‘Texans Extra Points’, which can be seen locally on ABC-13/KTRK. In the offseason at 11 p.m. on the same channel, he’s the host of ‘Texans 360’. Additionally, he’s the co-host of the ‘Texans Huddle’ 30-minute show on Fox Sports Southwest.

As the Texans Insider, Deepi Sidhu (@DeepSlant) is a co-host on Texans Radio, Texans TV, and daily contributor to HoustonTexans.com. Sidhu, a co-host and associate producer on ‘Texans Late Night,’ will co-host the newest addition to the Texans TV lineup. ‘Texans Buzz’ premieres on Saturdays nights this fall on ABC/KTRK following the late local news. With a background in radio, Sidhu also assists on the programming and production side for all of the offseason and in-season Texans radio shows, which air on SportsRadio 610.  Prior to joining the Texans organization, Sidhu worked for the flagship station, SportsRadio 610.
