Brandin Cooks eclipsed the 7,500 career receiving yards during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game at Miami. The eight-year veteran wide receiver, who needed just 35 yards entering the Week 9 matchup, reached the mark on a 10-yard reception from Tyrod Taylor. In the 17-9 loss, Cooks finished with a team-high six catches for 56 yards.
In his first season with the Texans in 2020, Cooks became just the third player in franchise history with at least 1,000 receiving yards in a single season. This year, Cooks recorded two 100-yard receiving games and caught two touchdown passes.
