Sunday, Sept. 28 - 3:20 p.m. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -The Texans keep plugging away on offense. It's the first game this season where Schaub has been able to strike a balance between the running game and the passing game.

Daniels continues to come up with some clutch first downs. His 34-yard reception down the sideline in the fourth quarter was key to the Texans' scoring drive. In that drive, Schaub connected with wideout Kevin Walter on an eight-yard pass. IT was the second touchdown hookup for the duo today.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - 2:00 p.m. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Running back Steve Slaton showed why he is the top running back on the Texans' depth chart. The rookie caught a 30-yard pass for a touchdown give Houston a 10-7 lead.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - 1:55 p.m. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -The Texans' offense is starting to hit its groove. Schaub has worked the middle of the field with tight end Owen Daniels, who has been a first-down machine in this game.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - 1:42 p.m. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Linebacker Chaun Thompson recorded his first sack as a Texan in the second quarter, taking down quaterback David Garrard. He has 11.5 sacks for his career.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - 1:35 p.m. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -The Texans were caught completely off guard when the Jaguars went for it on fourth-and-four at Houston's 41. Fullback Montell Owens ran for his first touchdown to make the score 7-0.

Quarterback Matt Schaub has been trying to work the deep ball to André Davis, but the wideout has been tripped up on two plays. The good news is that Houston's defense has been holding up since Jacksonville scored.
