For the next-to-last time before the NFL Draft gets underway, we have a Mock Draft Survey.
But for the umpteenth time, offensive tackle Andre Dillard is the player most-mocked to the Houston Texans.
We’ve combed the worldwide web for the most notable mock drafts, and of 54, Dillard was tabbed to Houston the most. 15 of 54 (27.8%) had the left tackle as a Texan.
Holding strong in second place was Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford, who was mocked to the Texans by eight of the 54 (14.8%) experts.
Offensive lineman Dalton Risner was mocked to Houston by four different experts (7.4%), while Jawaan Taylor of Florida and Greg Little from Ole Miss each were mocked to the Texans three times apiece.
In all, the mockers agree: Houston will take an offensive lineman with their first round pick. 40 of 54 (74.1%) have Houston bolstering the protection up front. A cornerback was mocked to Houston eight times (14.8%).
The NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25 in Nashville. Earlier that day, we’ll release the final 2019 Mock Draft Survey.
