The majority of experts still agree: the Texans will take an offensive lineman with their first round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
For the third straight Mock Draft Survey, Washington State offensive tackle Andre Dillard was the most-mocked player to the Texans, who currently own 23rd overall pick. 10 different prognosticators (25.6 percent) have the blocker headed to Houston, while six mock drafters (15.4 percent) predict the Texans will take Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford in the first. Four mock drafts say Houston will take Ole Miss lineman Greg Little, and three mockers tabbed LSU cornerback Greedy Williams to the Texans.
Florida offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor was slated to the Texans in a pair of mock drafts, and 13 other players were mocked once to Houston. One mock draft from R.J. White of CBS Sports has the Texans trading out of the first round altogether.
In all, offensive lineman was the popular choice: 28 of 39 mock drafts (71.8 percent) have the Texans adding help up front offensively. Five (12.8 percent) had the Texans selecting a corner, with a pair of receivers, a pair of tight ends and a running back getting picked by Houston, too.
The Draft begins on Thursday night, April 25 in Nashville, Tennessee.
