Breakfast: Jaelen Strong strikes vs. IND...again

Jaelen Strong's greatest NFL catches have all happened against Indianapolis.

The second-year wide receiver made the play of overtime when he hauled in a Brock Osweiler pass for a 36-yard gain, setting the Texans up with a 1st-and-10 at the Indianapolis 12-yard line. Two plays later, Nick Novak drilled the deciding field goal, and the Texans were 4-2.

"Unbelievable catch on that before the game winning field goal," head coach Bill O'Brien said. "Just a great play by him. Great to see him do that."

Osweiler said he saw something earlier in the game from the Colts that made him confident about going to

Strong in that situation.

"I told Jaelen I said, 'Hey if they give us this look again, I'm going to signal you a go route,'" Osweiler said. "So, it was something that we were on the same page.  We got that look. I signaled him the go route.  He did a tremendous job at the line of scrimmage. He won, and he made a terrific catch to ultimately put us in field goal position."

It was the only catch of the game for Strong, who caught five passes apiece in each of the last two weeks. He was glad Osweiler came back to him in overtime.

"Brock trusted me," Strong said. "He threw it up there and I went and got it."

It was the second consecutive win over the Colts. Houston beat Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 15 of last year, and Strong caught an 8-yard score in that one. That helped push the Texans to a franchise-first victory in Indianapolis.

The first and second touchdowns of Strong's NFL career came against the Colts on Thursday Night Football at NRG Stadium last year, as he caught a Hail Mary to close out the first half. He also caught a second half touchdown in that contest.
