D'Onta Foreman scored two touchdowns in a breakout performance against the Arizona Cardinals, but was immediately carted off the field following his second score.

D’Onta Foreman scored the first two touchdowns of his NFL career in the fourth quarter against Arizona, but suffered a serious injury in what was a breakout performance for the rookie.

After his second touchdown, Foreman immediately fell to the ground in the endzone. After being examined by the team's trainers, Foreman was carted off the field and did not return after rushing for a single-game career-high 65 yards on 10 carries and two rushing touchdowns. Foreman also added three receptions for 15 yards.

Foreman first scored on a three-yard run with 13:13 left in the fourth quarter. Foreman rushed for two first downs on the drive while Stephen Anderson’s 22-yard catch gave Houston possession at the Arizona 3-yard line. Foreman’s first career touchdown capped off a 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive that lasted 6:28.

Later in the fourth quarter, Adrian Peterson was tackled for a loss on fourth-and-1 and the Texans offense took over on downs. One play later, Foreman rushed for a 34-yard touchdown with 6:26 left in the game.

The Texans took a 31-21 lead after the Foreman’s back-to-back scores.
