Jonathan Grimes scores twice in 1st half

Jonathan Grimes did it all in the first half: he threw, he caught and he ran, and scored two touchdowns for the Texans.

Grimes found the end zone with 14:14 remaining in the second quarter, as he caught a Brian Hoyer pass to the left side and scooted 12 yards for the score. It was his first career touchdown reception, and it capped a 10-play, 79-yard drive that lasted 4:33. Grimes' score gave the Texans a 10-0 advantage.

Later in the quarter, he took direct snaps and ran with the ball, and also threw an incompletion. Grimes plunged in for a 3-yard score at the 5:37 mark of the second quarter, and the Texans were up 17-0 after the Nick Novak extra point.

In all, Grimes had three carries for 19 yards and caught three passes for 27 yards.
