Houston ISD is celebrating a major milestone in the 2025-2026 school year, with no students attending an F-rated campus across the district. The achievement marks a significant step forward in improving educational outcomes, as the number of A- and B-rated schools has more than doubled over the past two years.
This progress is part of a broader effort to elevate schools across the city through the Houston Promise initiative. The program has ensured that all 64 previously C- and D-rated campuses are now adopted and supported, creating new opportunities for students and educators alike.
The Houston Texans have played a direct role in that effort, adopting three schools as part of the initiative. Through hands-on community engagement, the organization continues to support teachers and staff who are driving change inside classrooms.
As part of that commitment, the Texans recently visited Hartsfield Elementary to recognize the work being done on campus. Teachers and staff were celebrated with a special lunch provided by Trill Burgers, bringing a moment of appreciation to those making a daily impact.
Houston Texans Legend Tim Jamison and Texans Cheerleaders were also on-site, connecting with educators, handing out giveaways, and helping energize the campus community.
With measurable progress across Houston ISD and continued support from community partners like the Houston Texans, the momentum behind student success in Houston continues to build.
