WHY I COACH

How long have you been coaching? Where did your career begin? What College or university did you attend?
This is my 20th year coaching. I played football and graduated from the University of Houston.
Why do you coach? Why Flag Football?
Coaching is my passion. I enjoy being a positive influence to young athletes.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Developing athletes and helping them achieve their goals. Coaching to me has never felt like a job.
Why is the growth of girl's flag football important to you?
I love that the young ladies are getting an opportunity to play a sport that many of them love, but until now had only been spectators. I really believe in Texas, flag football will be one of the top women sports.
