The Texans selected Woody Marks 116th overall on Saturday afternoon.

For the second straight pick, Houston went with a USC standout, taking the Trojans' running back in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Texans closed their Friday night selections out by drafting Marks' teammate cornerback Jaylin Marks late in the third round.

Marks, who is 5-10 and weighs 207 pounds, spent the first four years of his college career at Mississippi State. Last season with the Trojans, he rumbled for 5.7 yards per carry and cracked the 1,100 yard mark on the ground for the season. Marks rushed for nine touchdowns, and was also a weapon in the passing game, catching 47 passes for 321 yards.

"I'm a person you can put out there anywhere, a playmaker on the field," Marks said. "I'm just there to do anything the coaches need."

In five college seasons, Marks averaged 5.0 yards per carry, and gained a combined 3,016 and scored 31 touchdowns. He also caught at least one pass in the first 56 games of his college career. He's excited to join the Texans, and explained how familiar he is with the franchise.

"I know a lot about the Texans," Marks said. "Being with (USC Head Coach) Lincoln Riley, I watched a lot of Joe Mixon film. And Dameon Pierce, I knew about him because the coach he played for coached me at Mississippi State."

Marks also is reunited with Smith, his teammate last year in Los Angeles with USC.

He's now the fifth Trojan all-time to be drafted by the Texans.
