In 2023, we launched our official Girls FLAG League, presented in partnership with Houston Methodist, to put young female athletes front and center in the youth football world — opening the game to every girl and creating a powerful path toward lasting opportunity.

Breaking barriers in Texas sports, the Houston Texans launched the state's first Girls Flag Showcase, paving the way for inclusivity and empowerment on the field. The Girls Flag College Showcase, presented in partnership with Houston Methodist, connects talented female athletes with collegiate programs, offering them opportunities to showcase their skills, earn recognition, and take their game to the next level.
Coaches change lives, and we're here to celebrate them! The Texans Girls Flag Coach of the Week, presented with Houston Methodist*,* awards a $1,000 grant for their girls flag program and a shot at Girls Flag Coach of the Year.
