Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
No height or weight requirements but must be in an athletic physical condition.

Tryouts Timeline

Thursday, April 27: 2023 HTC Tryouts Application Period Closes at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Friday, April 28 to Saturday, April 29: Virtual Round #1

Sunday, April 30 to Monday, May 1: Virtual Round #2

May 2023: In-person Round #3. Please note, an exact date is TBD.

May 2023: In-person Finalists Practices. Please note, exact dates are TBD.

May 2023: Voting Period

HTC Time Commitment

Rehearsals are 10.5 – 12 hours a week, typically Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from approximately 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

In season, the time commitment is roughly 20 hours a week including games and appearances. Cheerleaders are required to make appearances at events and in the community throughout the year.
