2019 Mock Draft Survey 2.0: Tackle tops the list

Experts think the Texans are taking an offensive tackle.

The Houston Texans have three picks in the first 55 of the 2019 NFL Draft. When they've picked in the first round, which they'll do this April for the first time since 2017, they've found some superstars. J.J. Watt in 2011. DeAndre Hopkins in 2013. Jadeveon Clowney a year later. Deshaun Watson two years ago.

It's the first time general manager Brian Gaine will have a first-rounder in his new position, but if he drafts like he did in 2018, Texans fans will be happy and the talent level will be bolstered significantly.

We've gone around the worldwide web and checked out some of the more prominent mock drafts. The list will grow as more and more experts turn in their predictions throughout this spring. For now, though, eight mock drafts make the second 2019 Houston Texans Mock Draft Survey, and seven of the eight think Houston is taking an offensive tackle. Florida's Jawaan Taylor was named on three of those mocks, while Greg Little from Ole Miss was mocked twice to the Texans.
