- Now in his twelfth NFL season, Roberts is a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2018-20), an AP First-Team All-Pro (2018) and an AP Second-Team All-Pro (2020).
- In 163 career games (41 starts), he has caught 261 passes for 3,044 yards, averaging 11.7 yards per reception, and scored 15 touchdowns. On special teams, Roberts has fielded 221 kickoff returns for 5,076 yards (25.8 average) and two touchdowns. He has also returned 195 punts for 1,763 yards (9.0 average) and three touchdowns.
- Roberts was originally selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third-round (88th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft, where he played his first four seasons (2010-13). He also played for the Washington Football Team (2014-15), Detroit Lions (2016), Atlanta Falcons (2017), New York Jets (2018) and the Buffalo Bills (2019-20).
- In 2018, Roberts led the NFL in kickoff return yards (1,174) and ranked second in punt returns yards (223). His 14.1 yards per punt return average was an NFL-best.
- He has scored twice on a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, once at the Carolina Panthers in 2015 and then again against the Green Bay Packers in 2018.
- Roberts played four seasons (2006-09) at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolinia where he set school records for career receptions (285), receiving yards (3,743), receiving touchdowns (37), 100-yards receiving games (17), punt returns yards (1,160), punt return average (13.9) and all-purpose yards (5,215).
- He also graduated with a degree in accounting.
- Roberts received an invitation to the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine, where he ran his 40-yard dash in 4.46 second. He became just the 12th Citadel player to be selected in the NFL Draft.
- Both of his parents served in the U.S. Army. His father, Stephen, finished as a command sergeant major and his mother, Dorothy, was a first sergeant. The two served at Fort Hood, Texas for their first assignment.
- At Spring Valley High School, Roberts ran track and led the team to a championship in 2003 and a second-place finish as a senior.
- Since 2016, Roberts has owned a restaurant in Virginia, a Zaxby's franchise, with his partner Duran Lawson. The two played football together at The Citadel.
- Last season, Roberts played in 15 regular season games for the Bills, earning Pro Bowl and Second-Team All-Pro honors after totaling the second-most kickoff return yards (961) and fifth-most punt return yards (286) in the NFL.
