News on strength coach

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Ray Wright has been promoted to the position of **head strength and conditioning coach** for the Texans. No official announcement has been made by the club at this time.

Wright, who played collegiately at Duke from 1990-95, has been with the Texans since their inception. He spent the team's first seven seasons as the assistant strength and conditioning coach to Dan Riley, whose contract was not renewed after the season.
