The Houston Texans Charity Golf Classic, presented by your local Houston area BMW Centers, was held at the prestigious River Oaks Country Club on Monday, May 4. Teams golfed alongside Texans players and celebrities and enjoyed lunch, dinner, and an awards ceremony following the tournament.

In support of our Salute to Service initiative. The Houston Texans welcomed the second class of military service members and veterans participating in the Gridiron Heroes Officiating Program, supported by American National Insurance. This groundbreaking initiative provides veterans with the opportunity to reintegrate into their communities through sports officiating, fostering a sense of purpose and connection.

The Houston Texans were joined by players around the league to raise awareness about a cause close to their hearts by wearing it on their feet.

In honor of the NFL's Salute to Service initiative, the Houston Texans and American National Insurance hosted Service Members and First Responders at NRG Stadium for a flag football tournament and skills challenge. Texans Rookies and Defensive Tackle Mario Edwards Jr., joined by Texans Legends Chris Clark, Glover Quinn, Jim Herndon, and Travis Johnson, served as coaches for the day. Participants faced off in round-robin games and friendly competitions including a long toss, field goal challenge, and tug-of-war. In the end, Houston's First Responders claimed the inaugural Salute to Service Showdown Trophy as the event's first-ever champions!

The Houston Texans visited Lantrip Elementary School to celebrate Whataburger's Hunger Action Month Campaign benefiting the Houston Food Bank. The program, now in its 11th year, raised $130,915 this year, bringing the grand total to more than $1.4 million since its inception. Texans LB, Azeez Al-Shaair spoke with the students about the importance of nutrition before spending time playing games with them.

The Houston Texans and Coca-Cola are proud to announce the 2025 BOLD Award recipients. The program was established to honor Black Outstanding Leaders and Doers in Houston! The 2025 winners were surprised for their significant impact in the community. The Texans and Coca-Cola awarded these deserving leaders with $5,000 each to the non-profit of their choice.

We had a blast at the 2025 Youth Football Camp Presented by Chevron, with special guest appearances from Houston Texans Legends, TORO, and Houston Texans Cheerleaders! We can't wait to see you again next year!

Houston Texans DE Will Anderson Jr., TORO and Texans Cheerleaders visited the Houston Food Bank on Friday, June 6th in partnership with H-E-B to celebrate the 2024 Sacks for Hunger Program. During the 2024 Season, the Texans' defense set a franchise record with 49 sacks in the regular season and 7 in the postseason. Anderson and H-E-B presented a $56,000 check to the Houston Food Bank in celebration of the sack total and in support of hunger relief. The donation will provide 168,000 meals across Houston. Since its inception in 2008, the H-E-B Sacks for Hunger Program has provided more than one million meals to help kids and families in the Houston area.

Following the check presentation, the Texans and H-E-B will helped to build and pack boxes for seniors in our community.

On May 8th, the Houston Texans and Coca-Cola with Kroger surprised 10 special mothers from Family Houston with gifts and a pampering experience in lead up of Mother's Day weekend. Family Houston is a 2024 Inspire Change recipient. On behalf of Coca-Cola, each mother received an $1000 gift card to Kroger, a $750 Visa gift card and experiential gifting including: mini-facials, hand massages, bouquet creation, and a patch station!

The Houston Texans, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Ashley awarded $455,000 through the Inspire Change Grant Fund to 12 local nonprofits and educational programs working to make a difference in the Houston community. Grant recipients were celebrated at a reception at NRG Stadium with Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair, Vice President of the Texans Foundation Hannah McNair, Texans players, Legends, Cheerleaders and TORO.

In honor of Memorial Day, the Houston Texans in partnership with American National Insurance visited the Houston VA Hospital to enjoy light bites and participate in games with in-patient Veterans. This event featured appearances by Texans players, TORO, and cheerleaders, and prizes were provided by the Texans and American National Insurance.
