The Houston Texans and Coca-Cola are proud to announce the 2025 BOLD Award recipients. The program was established to honor Black Outstanding Leaders and Doers in Houston! The 2025 winners were surprised for their significant impact in the community. The Texans and Coca-Cola awarded these deserving leaders with $5,000 each to the non-profit of their choice.

We had a blast at the 2025 Youth Football Camp Presented by Chevron, with special guest appearances from Houston Texans Legends, TORO, and Houston Texans Cheerleaders! We can't wait to see you again next year!

Houston Texans DE Will Anderson Jr., TORO and Texans Cheerleaders visited the Houston Food Bank on Friday, June 6th in partnership with H-E-B to celebrate the 2024 Sacks for Hunger Program. During the 2024 Season, the Texans' defense set a franchise record with 49 sacks in the regular season and 7 in the postseason. Anderson and H-E-B presented a $56,000 check to the Houston Food Bank in celebration of the sack total and in support of hunger relief. The donation will provide 168,000 meals across Houston. Since its inception in 2008, the H-E-B Sacks for Hunger Program has provided more than one million meals to help kids and families in the Houston area.

Following the check presentation, the Texans and H-E-B will helped to build and pack boxes for seniors in our community.

On May 8th, the Houston Texans and Coca-Cola with Kroger surprised 10 special mothers from Family Houston with gifts and a pampering experience in lead up of Mother's Day weekend. Family Houston is a 2024 Inspire Change recipient. On behalf of Coca-Cola, each mother received an $1000 gift card to Kroger, a $750 Visa gift card and experiential gifting including: mini-facials, hand massages, bouquet creation, and a patch station!

The Houston Texans Charity Golf Classic, presented by your local Houston area BMW Centers, was held at the prestigious River Oaks Country Club on Monday, May 6. Teams golfed alongside Texans players and celebrities and enjoyed lunch, dinner, and an awards ceremony following the tournament.

The Houston Texans, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Ashley awarded $455,000 through the Inspire Change Grant Fund to 12 local nonprofits and educational programs working to make a difference in the Houston community. Grant recipients were celebrated at a reception at NRG Stadium with Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair, Vice President of the Texans Foundation Hannah McNair, Texans players, Legends, Cheerleaders and TORO.

In honor of Memorial Day, the Houston Texans in partnership with American National Insurance visited the Houston VA Hospital to enjoy light bites and participate in games with in-patient Veterans. This event featured appearances by Texans players, TORO, and cheerleaders, and prizes were provided by the Texans and American National Insurance.

The Houston Texans hosted over 200 athletes in their Girls Flag League program for a flag football clinic held at the Houston Methodist Training Center. The athletes developed their skills through a series of drills coached by professional women's football team, the Houston Energy, and were visited by special guests Adrienne Smith and Texans Legends, Cecil Shorts III and Earl Mitchell

On March 22nd, the Houston Texans and Texas Children's supported the first PLAY 60 Bikes on the Bayou event, organized by Houston ISD DYAD and Harris County RideOne. The event aimed to promote bike safety, physical activity, and outdoor exploration for middle school students. Students received bikes, helmets, and safety training before a group ride through Sunnyside, ending with a tailgate celebration featuring activities, food, and giveaways.

At Tijerina Elementary School in Magnolia Park, the Texans launched their second Reading with the Pros kickoff presented by Kroger this semester. For the rest of the spring semester, Texans players, TORO, Legends, and HTC will visit second grade classrooms and help children work on and fall in love with reading.

The Houston Texans and Mattress Firm partnered to bring TORO's Bedtime Stories to kindergartners at KIPP Shine Prep in anticipation of Sleep Week. This event was focused on helping little sleepers learn the importance of a good nighttime routine to help them rest and grow, featuring a special reading of TORO's book, Made to be a Mascot, by Texans Legend Wade Smith with special help from the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.

The Houston Texans collaborated with Literacy Now to enhance the Houston Reads Day event at Collins Elementary School. This initiative involved volunteers reading to students in grades K through 5, aiming to promote the importance of reading. Texans Legend Peter Kalambayi, along with TORO and HTC, read to multiple classrooms on this day.
