National Nurses Day | Texans players show appreciation during COVID-19

Every year, May 6 is celebrated as National Nurses Day, but the climate of 2020 has shined the spotlight even brighter on these essential healthcare workers.

According to National Calendar Day, "on this day, we raise awareness of all nurse contributions and commitments and acknowledge the vital role nurses play in society. This day is also the first day of National Nurses Week and is sometimes known as National RN Recognition Day."

Here are just some of the recent donations that Houston Texans have made to show their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of nurses everywhere, especially during the current COVID-19 crisis.
