Training Camp presented by Xfinity is here! Eight practices begin at 9 a.m. CT, with the exception of the August 11 practice, which will start at 5:30 p.m.

Each open practice will include fan giveaways such as cooling and jersey towels at the Xfinity tent, player autograph sessions, influencer appearances, and full Houston Texans Cheerleader signings and legends appearances. Some practices will also feature special events, such as a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams and exclusive retail launches. At the Houston Texans, fan safety is a priority. In the event of severe weather, practice may be cancelled before or during practice. Additionally, practice may be moved inside of Houston Methodist Training Center, and practice would then continue as a closed, non-public practice. Cancelled practices will not be rescheduled. Planning On Attending Texans Training Camp presented by Xfinity?

Here's what to expect if you plan on attending camp this season:

  • Parking is free in Green Lot for fans with tickets to Training Camp
  • Mobile tickets will be required for entry to each day of camp
  • Covered seating is first-come, first-served for all fans
  • The NFL's Clear Bag Policy will be in effect
  • Fans are allowed to bring in (1) unopened bottle of water per person

Training Camp FAQs

Parking & Gate

Green Lot: 6 a.m. Open for morning practices (2:30 p.m. for night practice).

A Tailgate Ambassador will be at each parking lot gate entrance for assistance.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. for the morning practices and 3:30 p.m. the evening practices. Fans will enter Training Camp via Green Lot and Murworth.

Bag Policy

The NFL League-Wide Policy permits only the following bags in Training Camp:

  • Bags that are clear and do not exceed 12"x12"x6"
  • One gallon clear plastic freezer bags
  • Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5"x6.5"
  • All other bags are prohibited
Prohibited Items

For your safety and the continuity of Training Camp, the following items are prohibited:

  • Weapons/Firearms
  • Outside food and beverage
  • Bags and backpacks larger than 4.5"x6.5"
  • Flag poles, frisbees, beach balls, selfie sticks
  • Video cameras/Cameras with lenses over 3"
  • Laser pens, fireworks, illegal substances
  • Noisemakers, air horns, whistles, cowbells
  • Unmanned aircraft systems/radio-controlled model aircrafts
  • Seat cushions
  • Segways, skateboards, hoverboards
  • Animals (except certified service animals to aid guests with disabilities)
  • Diaper Bags
  • Coolers
Inclement Weather

Due to unforeseen events, including, but not limited to inclement weather, football-related matters or any unexpected occurrence, practice can be cancelled. Before coming to camp, please check here for any updates. If practice is cancelled or moved into the Houston Methodist Training Center due to any of the above scenarios, there are no make-up dates.

Miscellaneous

Restroom

We have (2) restroom locations at Training Camp. One located by the food trucks on the south side and one located on the north side by the fan bleacher seating.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at Houston Texans Training Camp. Exceptions are made only for service animals.

First Aid

First Aid & Guest Experience Areas will be available next to the Stage on the southside of Training Camp.
