Gameday Programs

The Texans have joined forces with our partners to create several programs that benefit our community based on team wins, first downs, touchdowns and more. These programs result in thousands of dollars donated each year to nonprofits doing great work in the community.

$73,324 Dollars donated by Aramark and the Texans through the NPO Fundraising Program, which gives organizations the chance to work concessions during home games to raise funds for their nonprofit.

$34,000 Money raised by H-E-B and the Texans for the Houston Food Bank through the Sacks for Hunger program, which translates to 102,000 meals for Houstonians in need.

$45,000 Amount Mustang Cat contributed to the Brookwood Community through the Special Teams for Special Needs program, with funds awarded for every point the Texans special teams unit scored.

Winter Storm Relief

The McNair family and the Texans made a $500,000 donation to the Greater Houston/Harris County 2021 Winter Storm Relief Fund & chairman and CEO Cal McNair was named to the Winter Storm Relief Fund Advisory Board.

The Texans donated $25,000 equivalent to 12,500 meals, to Kids Meals Inc., which serves food-insecure preschool-aged children.

Verizon and the Texans provided Verizon WI-FI to 3 communities in need of connectivity.

The Texans, Cal and Hannah McNair and Texans Legends provided 5 food trucks and 1,200 free meals in Houston's city council district D.

The Texans sent 200 meals to the foster family YMCA North Side Warming Center to feed first responders and area residents.

Verizon and the Texans provided 400 portable phone chargers to the YMCA of Greater Houston to be distributed to those temporarily displaced from their homes.

Coca-Cola and the Texans partnered to deliver 1,000 bottles of Dasani water to the North Side Warming Center at the Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA.

Crown Royal partnered with the Texans to donate $50,000 to the Houston Food Bank, providing 150,000 meals.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans made a joint donation of $100,000 in support of the Texans to the Greater Houston/Harris County 2021 Winter Storm Relief Fund. The NFL Foundation matched the donation, bringing the total donation amount to $2000,000.

The Texans and the Houston Texans YMCA teamed up with the 627 Food Truck to provide 100 hot meals to families in the Greater Third Ward.

The Texans provided YMCA international service clients with much-needed items after the storm, including blankets, beanies, coats, sweatshirts and towels. Items were distributed to 147 men, women &children in 50 families.

The Texans provided 100 hot family-style meals for Texans staff members.

COVID-19 Relief

The Texans helped raise $17 million for the Greater Houston COVID-19 Recovery Fund.

The Texans donated $50,000 to Southern Smoke to support Houston-Area restaurant and service industry workers.

The Foundation donated $50,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston to support member families.

TORO video-chatted with teachers and students in more than 150 classrooms during the pandemic.

Janice S. McNair and family donated $250,000 to the Houston Food Bank and $250,000 to Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston Meals on Wheels.

The Texans delivered meals to doctors and nurses at Houston Methodist and Texas Children's Hospital.
