The Foundation was established in 2002 to benefit underserved children in our community. The Foundation strives to be CHAMPIONS FOR YOUTH and each year hosts a variety of successful fundraising events to support that mission. Each event gives fans a unique opportunity to interact with players, Cheerleaders, staff, TORO and Legends, while also creating awareness for important causes. Texans fans helped make 2021–2022 a big year, as the Foundation raised more than $2.8 million to benefit the Greater Houston area.

Each year, the Foundation hosts an annual Kickoff Luncheon presented by Amegy Bank to help get fans excited for the upcoming season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to host the 2021 event, but thanks to generous donors, more than $140,000 was raised for the Foundation through continued commitments from our supporters.

At each Texans home game, the Foundation hosts the 50/50 Jackpot. One lucky fan has the opportunity to take home half of the jackpot, while the other half of the jackpot benefits the Foundation. In 10 Texans home games this season, the 50/50 Jackpot raised more than $480,000 for the Foundation.

The 2021 Running of the Bulls 5K presented by H-E-B and TORO's 1K presented by Texas Children's Hospital included more than 1,200 participants and raised nearly $110,000 to benefit USO Houston and the Foundation. The event celebrated members of our military and veterans in the Houston area. After the race, kids and families enjoyed demonstrations from the U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard and more and received autographs from TORO, Legends and Cheerleaders in the post-race party.

For the 11th year, Taste of the Texans presented by Sysco was held at NRG Stadium. Nearly 600 Texans fans had the opportunity to mix and mingle with Legends, celebrities and Cheerleaders while sampling dishes from some of Houston's finest restaurants. In 2021, the event raised more than $250,000 to support the Foundation and the Houston Food Bank to help fight hunger in our community.

The Foundation hosts online auctions during Texans home games and at Foundation events throughout the year, raising valuable funds for the Foundation through the sale of Texans memorabilia, autographed items and exclusive experiences. Through these online auctions, $15,600 was raised for the Foundation during the 2021 season.

The Texans proudly support community nonprofit organizations through the donation of autographed items to use at fundraising events. Throughout the year, the Texans donated items to 150 organizations in the greater Houston area at a value of nearly $30,000.

The annual Charity Golf Classic presented by BMW provides guests with an exclusive opportunity to mingle with Texans players, Cheerleaders and executives while enjoying a round of golf at River Oaks Country Club. The event was preceded by the Texans Insider Dinner presented by BMW, where guests had the opportunity to hear insider remarks from Texans General Manager Nick Caserio and players just days after the 2022 NFL Draft. The Charity Golf Classic raised more than $390,000 for the Foundation.

Through the Cheering Children program, Season Ticket Members can donate unused tickets to the Foundation to be donated back to nonprofit groups across Houston. In 2021, Season Ticket Members donated more than 1,300 tickets to the Foundation. Tickets received are donated to the YMCA of Greater Houston.
