Kristi Fogleman, a 25+ year 9-1-1 professional, served as Texas APCO President while continuing her role as Training Coordinator for Montgomery County Emergency Communication District. Following the devastating July 2025 Texas Hill Country floods, she immediately mobilized Texas APCO and Texas NENA to deliver the one item most requested by telecommunicators working tirelessly through the disaster—a hot meal. She coordinated a mobile kitchen, identified critical agency needs, and helped provide supplies, equipment, and ongoing peer support. In September, Kristi and her daughter, Memory, drove more than 1,000 miles across the Hill Country to personally deliver gifts to every flood-affected telecommunicator and visit those who suffered personal loss. Despite these efforts, she also planned two statewide training events and advocated for 9-1-1 professionals before the Texas Legislature and Congress in Washington, D.C. Kristi's servant leadership exemplifies compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the 9-1-1 profession.
