We're less than two-and-a-half hours away from the start of the 2010 NFL Draft. I'll be blogging at Reliant Stadium from now through the end of the seventh round on Saturday afternoon, and we'll be streaming live press conferences on Texans TV after each pick. All of our stories, videos, photos and podcasts will be archived on the 2010 Path to the Draft page presented by FOX Sports Houston.
As you probably know by now, the draft has turned into a three-day event this year. The first round is tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. The second and third rounds are on Friday, starting at 5 p.m. CT. Rounds 4-7 will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. CT.
The Texans have the 20th pick tonight. Each team has 10 minutes to make their selection, so the latest that the Texans could go on the clock, barring a trade, is at 9:50 p.m. CT. It'll more likely be early in the nine o'clock hour.
For those of you in town, it's not too late to print your free ticket for the Texans' 2010 Draft Party presented by Miller Lite. Doors open at 6 p.m. Texans players will be there to sign autographs, and the Texans Cheerleader finalists will perform (fans will have a chance to vote on their favorites).
I've got to run upstairs to the press box to set up shop for the night. I'm putting together a survey of mock drafts from around the web that I'll post shortly. For now, here's a list of the Texans' picks, by round:
