The break between minicamp and training camp is officially rolling for the Texans.

Eight Saturdays from now, Andre Johnson will get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. His former head coach with the Texans, Gary Kubiak, will present him.

It'll be a fun week of festivities celebrating 'Dre, and over the weekend we aired this interview of him with former teammate and longtime NFL defensive lineman N.D. Kalu.

The Texans made waves this offseason when they traded for wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The veteran has cranked out 1,000-yard seasons every year since 2018. He's into the mix with Nico Collins and Tank Dell, and it's an impressive trio. But last week, Head Coach DeMeco Ryans was asked about some of the other players at the position, and he was bullish on the likes of John Metchie, III, Jared Wayne and Xavier Hutchinson. Ryans talked a bit about each guy, below.

Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle wrote about the impressive minicamp rookie Kamari Lassiter put together. Optimism is high for the young defensive back.

Ryans had some strong words about tight end Brevin Jordan and how he's been doing lately. Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2 wrote about the impact Jordan's having on and off the field.
