The Houston Texans claimed WR Sammie Coates off waivers on Monday, so let's get familiar with the team's newest wideout.

Below are five things to know about Coates.

He grew up in Leroy, AL.

He played college football at Auburn University and earned second-team All-SEC honors as a junior in 2014. He also set an Iron Bowl record with 206 receiving yards (on just five catches) that year against Alabama.

He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round (87th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He spent two seasons with the Steelers and one with the Browns.

He recently got a tattoo of him and his baby boy bumping fists, which you can see here.
